Ludlam House, Berners Road

A purpose built complex of one bedroomed and studio flats, Ludlam House has a resident Warden, communal lounge, TV room with video, laundry facilities and door security system. Each flat is also connected to an alarm call system. The building contains 26 one person studio flats and 8 two person one bedroomed flats, all with central heating. Ludlam House is set in large well maintained gardens.

Ludlam House is situated at the junction of Berners Road and

Newman House, St Lawrence Road

Completed in 1991, this development comprises 10 self contained one bedroomed flats, each with central heating. All flats are connected to an alarm system. The property has a secluded rear garden.

Newman House is located at the junction of Highgate and St Lawrence Road, Tinsley.

St Anne’s, Severn Road

St Anne’s was converted from a large semi-detatched house into a complex of ten self contained centrally heated flats with double glazing. There are a further three one bedroomed flats in the annex at the rear of the property.

The house has a car park and garden at the rear, with a shared laundry room and meeting room. The building has an alarm call and door security system. St Anne’s, Severn Road is off Whitham Road, Broomhill.

Copplestones, Claremont Crescent

Copplestones is a detatched stone built residence on Claremont Crescent, close to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The property was refurbished in 1991 to provide 2 one bedroomed two person flats, 2 one bedroomed one person flats and a one bedroomed attic flat, each with central heating and alarm call systems. There are gardens and a car park at the rear of the house.

Claremont Crescent is off Northumberland Road, Broomhill at the rear of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

There are three rooms available for hire on a daily basis, the main hall, library room and committee room. There is a kitchen included with the main hall hire, and one available @ £10/day with the library and committee rooms. There is a caretaker on site. Parking is, like everywhere in the city center, a problem! Please note, Channing Hall has no entertainment or drinks licence and is not usually available on Sundays. The Trustees of the Upper Chapel do not normally allow hire by religious or political groups, please give us a call if you are uncertain if your proposed usage will be acceptable.

Rates

To book, call, fax or email us, we will then invoice you by fax/email. This must be paid in full by the date of the booking to gain entrance to the hall. A cancellation fee of £20 is charged on bookings cancelled at less than 14 days notice.
